Anaïs Tondeur's Chornobyl Herbarium project consists of a rayogram for each year since the Chernobyl explosion (26 April 1986), created by the direct imprint of specimens from a radioactive herbarium onto photosensitive plates. These plants were previously grown in the soil of the Exclusion Zone by the team of bio-geneticist Martin Hajduch, who studies the consequences of radioactivity on flora in heavily irradiated areas around the plant.
